I live here in Victoria BC with my love, Taylor and our new daughter, Frankie Rose. I’m one half of the Lolo & Noa photography duo.
I was born and raised in a tiny town called Field in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in BC, but have recently moved to Victoria BC—a place I spent a lot of time in before permanently relocating here. I am so excited to offer lifestyle photography sessions here, in addition to our usual Lolo & Noa elopements and weddings in Victoria.

I LOVE to travel! I’ve been to over 15 countries, but can most often be found hanging beachside or surfing in Mexico (although I could also handle living in the Tuscan countryside for a few months).
Growing up in the Rockies always gave me such a deep sense of gratitude for living so close to such a diverse playground. I deeply connect with mountains and, when I lived in them, I spent a great deal of my time outside, immersing myself in nature and outdoor activities such as ripping it up on the mountain bike trails or getting dibs on first tracks in fresh pow at Kickinghorse with my girlfriends.
I thought that moving to Victoria would be a big (but very welcome change) for this small-town life and style photographer, and I was right!
My other deep love is the ocean—with all her mystery, salty goodness, and limitless life and possibilities—and the ocean around Victoria BC is breathtaking. Everywhere I look in Victoria there is beauty and new places to explore. The inspiration and creative juices flow freely for me here and make it so easy to create the same depth and emotion in my seaside images as I did in the majestic mountains back home.
PLUS, being a new, first-time mom has really opened my eyes to the deep and indescribably vast connection that a mother feels for her children and, athough Lois and I have been offering maternity photo sessions, motherhood photography, and newborn photos for years, I didn’t really GET it until I became a mother myself.
Every day, I feel blessed to feel this innate and love-filled connection to my child and explore the gift of that within our new family. And I also feel it’s also a profound privilege to document that connection and capture glimpses into the ever-changing and evolving family dynamic of the families I work with during family photography sessions in Victoria.
I am so excited and happy to be living and photographing here in Victoria BC, and I can’t wait to see all that this area and the rest of Vancouver Island has to offer.
Besides being a mom, loving the ocean and mountains, and playing outside, I was also born with entrepreneurial genes. It started with my dad and spread to my entire family so that now, not only do I run a full-time life and style & wedding photography business in Victoria, but I also help my brothers run our family business, The Boathouse Trading Co at Emerald Lake BC. Our family business has been such a fun family adventure. Like my girl, Lois, running two businesses has really made me aware of how valuable our time is and how precious these moments with our families can really be.
